There are no statistics on the number of work at home moms, but there are more than 10 million female-owned businesses in the USA, according to the National Association of Women Business Owners. The growth of moms make money from home by working smarter is also being helped by modern technology such as high-speed Internet access and powerful home computers. Many moms realise that just because they’ve chosen to be among the stay at home mums doesn’t mean that their financial contribution to the family budget stops. Stay at home parents are finding it increasingly difficult to support their family on a single income. If you want to financially contribute to your family, to maybe break away from living paycheck to paycheck, to overcome economic downturns and credit crunches, I’m sure you’ll find help here. Stay at home mums are re-defining the pre-conception people have of them, not only by bringing in money to the family home but in many cases ending up the main bread winner from the comfort of their own home.
